1) Pretty Cast.
It was nice to see a GLEE actress outside of her comfort zone in an action film although she was the popular high school girl...Okay maybe not so outside her comfort zone lol!
2) Original Plot
Aliens meet high school meets super powers... Sounds kind of like Race to Witch Mountain, but they pulled off some original content
3) Fast Paced
The movie kept moving without any stopping points or stale moments.
4) Covers Complicated Plot Well in Short Time.
For a novel to film it definitely seemed to cover the plot well to where there were no points where you were like, 'What are they talking about?'
Dislikes
1) The graphics were great, but a bit too far fetched and over the top...if that's possible....
2) The film was very very predictable!
3) The actors did not do a wonderful job of being convincing in their characterization, I believe they relied too much on the CGI and not enough on the abilities of the actors at their disposal.
Favorite Character
The adorable, mostly CGI based, puppy that had a bit of a special power!
